Resources

It would be nice if life was a little simpler, right? In effort to make things easier for you, I created this resource page where I list some of my favorite blogs, products, programs and other resources I have used to maintain my health and wellness.

I always want to be a student of life so as I grow and learn I will add to this resource page. I recommend bookmarking it to make things easy peasy for you to reference.

Health and Wellness

These are all great resources I check out on a regular basis. Lots of great info!

Corporate Wellness

I am a firm believe that if done right corporate wellness programs can be highly effective to keep all of us marching toward our personal health goals. I try to keep up to date and reference the websites below.

Essential Oils

I love the power of nature and how it can have a positive impact on our lives. Essential Oils are just one of the tools I use to help remove toxins like scented candles, beauty products filled with harmful chemicals, etc. There is a lot you can do with them and I frequently check out the following websites.

Exercise and Fitness

There are days I rather hit the snooze button and get an extra hour of sleep instead of working out. However, I know I feel better and my stress levels are lower when I make myself exercise. The struggle is real, but here are a few resources that I check out for inspiration and motivation.

  • I love high intensity interval training aka HITT. This website gives me new ideas on how I can use weights to workout less and get the maximum result: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/bbinfo.php?page=HIIT
  • Yoga is something I love because of how much it helps me manage my chronic pain. When I stop doing it I really notice a difference and I love how calm and centered I feel after each class is over. If I ever have a question about a post I find myself on this website: http://www.yogajournal.com/
  • I know I mentioned I love HITT training and another name for it is Burst Training. Dr. Josh Axe has a great DVD and is one of many I personally use http://burstfit.com/fire/

Products

Here are links to a few products and programs that I personally use myself.

  • My Amazon Store: http://www.alisonbrehme.com/store/
  • This Hungry Hottie Cookbook is my go-to and one of my personal favorites. I wanted more plant-based meal ideas and this cookbook is full of them as well as numerous healthy living tips that you can easily add to your life: http://hungryhottie.com/cookbook/
  • SoCal Cleanse: Detox is a word that can make people cringe! I was never one for doing many detox cleanses, but I actually really love their peppermint tea and charcoal soap. I never had any running to the bathroom moments since the ingredients they use are all gentle and natural on my system: http://socalcleanse.com/
  • There are a lot of great therapeutic-grade essential oil brands out there. I personally use Young Living so if you ever have any questions check it out: https://www.youngliving.org/abrehme
  • My life changed when I decides to help others with their health and wellness goals. I studied at the Institute of Transformation Nutrition and was one of the best investments I ever made in my professional training: http://www.transformationalnutrition.com/videos/

Oh, I almost forgot!
