LEARN TO GRIEVE with ALISON BREHME

Welcome! You'll find encouragement, ideas, and tips on grief and loss. Remember, grief doesn't just happen with the death of a loved one. It can happen with the loss of a job, one's health, home, money, freedom, relationships, etc. We all grieve differently, and that's okay. But you don't have to do it alone.

Grief is complicated!

After stuffing down my emotions for years and using work as my coping mechanism, I finally decided to do something about it when my overworking started to impact my health. What began as a quest to heal my body turned into much more as I looked inward. During this time, I was one of the live-in caretakers of my elderly grandparents and faced the losses of family members, co-workers, and friends. Through it all, I discovered that when we look at the body, mind, and soul together, true healing and self-discovery can begin. Now, I want to support others who are struggling with their grief, heartache, and pain.

Unmasking Grief

Are you feeling angry, sad, overwhelmed, or numb?

You're not alone. The challenge is life doesn't stop because we are grieving. So, it's easy to stuff it down. We bury our emotions, thinking that staying busy and distracted will help us heal, but in the long run, it usually only prolongs the pain.

With Unmasking Grief, you'll release the weight of unresolved feelings, allowing you to find your path, even in the emptiness. You'll gain the courage to be vulnerable with others instead of suffering in silence, and it's all done on your timetable.
